How to get the Self Property Tax Assessment Form?

You need to download the Self-Assessment Tax form from GHMC website at www.ghmc.gov.in/downloads/selfassesment.pdf. You can also read the related citizen charter at http://www.ghmc.gov.in/citizencharter/cc9.asp


What amount to be paid as your Property Tax?
Property Tax is paid Half-Year Wise. At My Home Jewel, Chandanagar, Hyderabad - We have fix rate of property tax.
1) For 3 BHK it is INR 4402 per year
2) For 2 BHK it is INR 3252 per year.



How to obtain your NEW PTIN number to confirm/pay your property tax amount?

1) Go to http://www.ghmc.gov.in/tax/ptlocalitysearchrep.asp

 2) Select 12 (Seriligampally-2) in  CIRCLE field and enter DOOR NUMBER as your apartment number and search through the several pages. You can also put your name in the Owner Name & Door No field but sometimes it does not show results.

3) Find your New PTIN number. Please note it down for future quick search. 

4) Click on the PTIN which will open the "Property Tax Dues Details 2011-12" page where you can check all details and also pay directly the property tax online.

How and where to pay your property tax?

GHMC offers the following modes of payments in collecting Property Tax from the Citizens.
Debit/Credit Card Payment from our website http://www.ghmc.gov.in
e-Seva Counters
AP Online Service Delivery
Citizen Service Centers
Bill Collectors For online payments of Property Tax 2011 1) Go to http://www.ghmc.gov.in/tax/taxdueshome_new.asp 2) Enter CIRCLE NO : 12. Seriligampally-2 (for My Home Jewel Apts only) 3) Enter PTIN Type:  New/Old 4)  Enter New PTIN number obtained by the procedure listed above. ( Please check above question "How to obtain PTIN number?" 5) Pay the property tax online at GHMC website directly through a Credit or Debit Card. For payment of property tax through Bill Collectors 1) You need to download the Self-Assessment Tax form from GHMC website at www.ghmc.gov.in/downloads/selfassesment.pdf. You need to fill it up and assess your own tax.

2) You can produce a check of the tax amount payable to COMMISSIONER, GHMC and meet Mr. D Ganesh, the Bill Collector for Miyapur along with the Self-Assessment form along with a copy of Sales Deed of your property at My Home Jewel, Hyderabad.

Note: You may be asked sharp questions on how you calculated the tax liability  (implying it's their prerogative to do so), but just be firm to say that Everybody else is paying the same money in My Home Jewel.
Important: Do not forget to take the receipt of the check payments made.

After some time, you would see your details on their website.

MOST IMPORTANT: You need NOT pay any bribe or any other money to anyone to do this.


For payments by Cash at the E Seva Center
Go to GHMC office in Chandanagar, Hyderabad. (This is opposite to BSNL Excahnge in Chandanagar / Adjacent ot Eseva center Chandanagar).  

People can pay the property tax in cash at the GHMC office on ground floor of building.
